Title:

Insulating efficiency and protection of the prefabricated wooden houses against condensed water

Abstract:

The presence of condensed water within the various layer elements in wooden prefabricated houses can cause the following:

- moistened layer, the main isolation material particularly, looses its isolating properties.

- moistened material allows the presence of microorganisms which strongly influence element construction durability.

- unfavourable hygienic and living conditions are created in this way.

Owing to the above mentioned consequences a strict control of material quality and durability is indispensable. Consequently when heat passage and vapour diffusion through various layer wooden elements are calculated the choice of material and the sequence of layers must be considered.
