Dynamic and structural changes in furniture, carpentry and joinery industries of the Socialist Republic of Croatia

Analysis of economic conditions, operational profit, and its distribution in the furniture, carpentry, and joinery industries of the SR of Croatia serves as the starting point for directing and development planning. Qualitative economic changes are being analyzed using selected indicators of operations such as productivity, profitability, output-input ratio, etc. Static and dynamic indicators, along with elasticity indicators, are used to analyze qualitative aspects of changes. Rates of change and their generalization, represented by a matrix of changes, are employed to analyze static and dynamic changes between branches within the group of timber industries in the SR of Croatia.
