Qualitative comparison of different arrangement of saw blades in regard to utilization of logs on the frame-saws

The study contains the first results obtained when testing influence of thickness, length and fall of log diameter, the width of saw kerfs and inaccuracy of sawing on the volume utilization of logs sawn on the frame-saws. The work contains only the qualitative relations of the values of individual arrangements. The results are shown on the tables and charts with basic analysis. The tables are made on the basis of more than 20000 simulated sawings.
