Solid wood cutting-out optimization

Examinations have been made of the possibility to obtain optimization of solid wood cutting-out in the production of furniture by changing equipment arrangement, by substituting circular saws by band saws and by reorganization of operator's job. The problems of equipment suitability, interconnection of machines, transport and arrangement of machines have been analysed. The process after optimization gave better results with regard to performance and working-hours.
