Title:

Specialization of technology as a optimization form of production complexes

Research subject and fields:
Abstract:

Further development of manufacture of finished wood products and particularly manufacture of fumiture in the SFR of Yugoslavia is closely connected with further expansion of exports, as a result of glut of domestic market and fall in purchasing power of population. To penetrate successfully the foreign markets, the quality products in the broadest sense, adaptable deliveries and reasonable prices are required. As for as prices are concerned, our timber industry is actually losing a batllle, recording real losses in exports. This article compares the existing technological model of furniture of a group of manufacturers with a model of a possible technological specialization of the group observed. Specialization represents a vertical division of labour, concetration of technological-technical and personal potentials and makes an increase of efficient production possible.
