Abstract:
This paper presents the results of a study of purposive conversion of unstandard pinewood logs into furniture dimension stock. The production yield of dimension stock in undried method has been compared. The dried method gives better quantity yield of logs by abt. 14 percent, and the dimension stock has a more symmetrical shape.
