Abstract:
This paper presents the investigations devoted to the problem of formaldehyde emission in the residential environment. Comparisons of results obtained in this country and abroad demonstrate the improvement achieved by the glue, board and finished wood products manufacturers. The methods applied for determining formaldehyde concentration in the air constantly improve and today the formaldehyde concentration can be determined with a precision of 0.001 ppm.
