The paper reviews the construction of wood bridges often referred to as the forest bridges, in forest areas. The scope of the paper is the representation of the present use of standard wood material in construction of bridges on forest roads, showing the advantage from the economic and technical point of view, in construction of bridges by use of laminated wood.
