Abstract:
The main objective of this investigation was to determine some physical properties of fir-wood: density in standard dry condition, nominal density, volumetric shrinkage and fiber saturation point. The paper gives also the data on moisture content after felling. The results of this investigation could help to determine technological properties of fir-wood. (V. K.)
