Fire prevention in forestry and timber industry

This article presents information on the world fairs specialized in fire protection. Measures for fire prevention in forestry and timber industry have been discussed. Several kinds of fire-retardant wood-based structural panel products and accomplishments in the field of supporting production for joinery in building trade have been considered. Finally, a review on FIRTO has been given as an example of the world institute engaged in fire protection designing, development of fire-retardant products researches and in development of a method for fire prevention.
