Abstract:
The paper deals with the use of glued prestressed laminated wood in loadbearing wooden construction systems. Some solutions to more successful glued prestressed wooden material construction correlated to the main elements or rather beamsupporting wooden construction have been examined from the engineering and technical viewpoint. Conditions for more rational construction from wooden material have been determined along with some important influential factors.
